The last chapter was about what forms you. This one is about what cannot be delegated from you — and about who is authoring your ministry when you use a tool that is happy to author it for you.
Two ideas. One chapter. Because they are the same idea from two angles. Presence is about where your body is. Authorship is about whose voice is coming out of your mouth. A pastor can lose either one quietly, without anyone in his church noticing, and wake up in ten years with a congregation that cannot feel the difference between him and the averaged-out output of a system he never vetted.
This chapter is how to not be that pastor.
