AI + MINISTRY SIGNAL

[ CHAPTER 07 ]
12 MIN READ

The AI Zones.

The question pastors ask me most often is not "Should I use AI?" They already do. The question is: "Where is the line? What can I hand to the machine, and what do I hold with both hands?"

That is not just a productivity question. It is a second-constitution question. Every time you hand a ministry task to AI, you are handing a small slice of that task to whoever wrote the model's alignment. In some zones that is tolerable — the cost is low, the damage is contained. In other zones it is catastrophic — the second constitution ends up authoring what should have been authored by the first. The zones below are a map of where the second constitution may travel in your ministry and where it must never set foot.

This chapter draws that line. Not a single line — a spectrum. Three zones. Three levels of human involvement. Three categories of risk. By the end, you will know where every major ministry task belongs on that spectrum, and you will have a classification table you can take to your leaders this week.
